Target Information
Swine tryptase is a serine protease enzyme predominantly found in mast cells, playing a crucial role in immune responses and inflammation. It is involved in tissue repair, increasing vascular permeability, chemotaxis, and upregulating ICAM-1 expression. In swine, tryptase may contribute to similar physiological processes, including immune defense and tissue remodeling.
