Target Information

Group A rotaviruses are associated with diarrhea in young birds, including chickens, turkeys, and pigeons, as well as many mammalian species. Sapovirus is part of a genetically diverse genus of single-stranded, positive-sense RNA, non-enveloped viruses within the Caliciviridae family. Its natural hosts are humans and swine, and it is transmitted via oral/fecal contact. Adenoviruses, characterized as double-stranded DNA viruses, can infect all vertebrate groups, including mammals, birds, reptiles, and fish. While most adenoviruses are species-specific, some types have the capability to infect multiple hosts.
