Terbutaline is a β2 adrenergic receptor agonist used in animals to treat reversible bronchoconstriction, such as in cats with bronchial asthma. It is also employed in dogs to alleviate bronchoconstriction and is used in treating animals with bronchitis and other respiratory diseases.
