Target Information

Phenylethanolamine A (PEAA) is a recently identified β-adrenergic agonist that has been illicitly incorporated into animal feed in China to enhance carcass leanness. However, residual PEAA in food products from animals might pose risks to the cardiovascular and central nervous systems. Consequently, the use of PEAA in animal feed and drinking water is banned in several countries.
