Target Information

Clenbuterol is a β2-agonist known to counteract the effects of oxytocin (OT) and prostaglandin F2α (PGF2α). It serves as a bronchodilator and tocolytic, frequently administered to pregnant mares to prevent early uterine contractions. Unlike other beta-agonists, clenbuterol is resistant to O-sulfate ester conjugation, resulting in a prolonged half-life.
