Target Information
Putative ATP-Dependent Clp Protease Proteolytic Subunit, Mitochondrial, also known as Endopeptidase Clp, is encoded by the CLPP gene in cattle. This protein is an essential component of the Clp protease complex. The ClpP monomer consists of three subdomains: the "handle," the globular "head," and the N-terminal region. ClpP can assemble into a tetradecamer complex (14-membered) and form a closed proteolytic chamber.
