Target Information
Serotransferrin, also known as transferrin, is a glycoprotein found in vertebrates. It plays a crucial role in iron transport through blood plasma. Bovine Serotransferrin is encoded by the TF gene in cattle. It is an iron binding transport glycoprotein mainly expressed in the liver. It is seen at high concentrations in milk during early lactation, and then falls rapidly over time.
