Target Information

The Brucella genus is a Gram-negative bacteria responsible for causing zoonotic brucellosis. Transmission occurs through consuming contaminated food like unpasteurized dairy products, direct contact with infected animals, or inhaling aerosols. Although the various Brucella species are genetically similar, each exhibits slightly different host specificities.
