Target Information

Insulin-like growth factor binding protein 7 is a protein encoded by the IGFBP7 gene. The main functions of this protein are to regulate the availability of insulin-like growth factors (IGFs) in tissues and to regulate the binding of IGFs to their receptors. IGFBP7 binds IGF with high affinity. Endothelial cells expressing IGFBP7 were identified in chicken anterior pituitaries using single-cell RNA sequencing technology.
