Target Information

Chlamydia felis is a Gram-negative, obligate intracellular bacterial pathogen that infects cats. It is widespread among domestic cats globally, primarily causing inflammation of the feline conjunctiva, rhinitis, and respiratory issues. C. felis is a common culprit behind conjunctivitis and upper respiratory problems in cats. If left untreated, it can lead to eye damage, vision loss, and ultimately, blindness.
