Target Information

Interleukin 4 (IL-4) is a complex glycoprotein produced mostly by mast cells, basophils, a subset of activated T cells, eosinophils and neutrophils. IL-4 can suppresse inflammatory cytokine gene transcription in swine macrophages. IL-4 plays an important role in regulating antibody production, hematopoiesis and inflammation, and the development of effector T-cell responses.
