Target Information

Porcine ras homolog family member A (pRHOA), also known as Ras-related C3 botulinum toxin substrate A, is a small GTPase protein that is part of the Rho family, which is crucial in the regulation of actin cytoskeleton dynamics in pigs. pRHOA plays a pivotal role in various cellular processes, including cell migration, adhesion, and cytokinesis. As a molecular switch, pRHOA cycles between an active GTP-bound state and an inactive GDP-bound state, which allows it to regulate multiple signaling pathways. Its activity is tightly controlled by guanine nucleotide exchange factors (GEFs), GTPase-activating proteins (GAPs), and GDP dissociation inhibitors (GDIs).
