Target Information
Cluster of differentiation 21 (CD21), also known as complement receptor 2 (CR2) is a cell surface protein that contains a small cytoplasmic domain and an extracellular domain consisting of a series of short consensus repeats termed complement control protein (CCP) domains. Swine mature B cells can express differential forms of CD21. CD21 plays critical roles in normal humoral immune responses and the development of autoimmunity.
