Target Information

Bovine resistin (RETN) is an adipocyte-specific hormone that plays a significant role in metabolism and cellular inflammation. It is known to modulate the inflammatory response in bovine alveolar macrophages (BAMs) by promoting autophagy and activating the AMPK/mTOR signaling pathway. This activation helps alleviate lipopolysaccharide-induced inflammation by reducing the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1β, IL-6, and TNF-α.
