Target Information
Canine cytotoxic T-lymphocyte protein 4 (CTLA-4), also known as CD152, is a critical immune checkpoint molecule expressed on the surface of T cells. It is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily and plays a key role in regulating T cell activation by transmitting inhibitory signals. CTLA-4 competes with CD28 for binding to its ligands, CD80 (B7-1) and CD86 (B7-2), thereby blocking the positive costimulatory signals required for T cell activation.
