Specifications
Target Information
Equine aminopeptidase N (APN), also known as CD13, is a type II transmembrane zinc-binding ectopeptidase belonging to the peptidase N family. It is a 150-170 kDa metalloprotease expressed on various cell types, including granulocytes, monocytes, and myeloid leukemia cells. APN functions as an aminopeptidase enzyme, catalyzing the removal of neutral amino acids from small peptides, which can activate or inactivate bioactive peptides.
