Canine FRK (Fyn-related kinase), also known as SNK (Sek-related kinase), is a nonreceptor tyrosine kinase that has been implicated in various cellular processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. It plays an oncogenic role in non-small cell lung cancer by enhancing the stemness phenotype and promoting metabolic reprogramming. In canine cancer research, FRK could be a potential target for therapeutic intervention, as it may influence tumorigenesis and cancer progression.
