Target Information
Bovine chemokine C-X-C-motif ligand 9 (CXCL9), also known as monokine induced by gamma interferon (MIG), is a small cytokine belonging to the CXC chemokine family. It is primarily induced by interferon-gamma (IFN-γ) and plays a crucial role in immune responses by recruiting immune cells such as T cells and natural killer (NK) cells to sites of inflammation. CXCL9 binds to the CXCR3 receptor, which is expressed on various immune cells, including effector T cells, regulatory T cells (Tregs), and CD8+ cytotoxic T cells.
