Target Information
Chicken PIK3R1 (Phosphoinositide-3-Kinase Regulatory Subunit 1, also known as p85α) is a key regulatory subunit of the PI3K complex, essential for intracellular signaling pathways that control cell growth, metabolism, and survival. It stabilizes and inhibits the catalytic activity of the p110 subunit and acts as an adapter, mediating interactions with receptor tyrosine kinases and insulin receptor substrates (IRS). PIK3R1 is involved in metabolic regulation and insulin signaling, with its expression and activity modulated by hormones such as glucocorticoids.
