Target Information

Fibroblast growth factor receptor 1 (FGFR-1), also called basic fibroblast growth factor receptor 1, fms-related tyrosine kinase-2 / Pfeiffer syndrome, and CD331, is a receptor tyrosine kinase that binds specific members of the fibroblast growth factor family. FGFR1 signaling promotes cell proliferation and differentiation in various tissues. It plays a vital role in development and tissue repair. FGFR1 contributes to angiogenesis, the formation of new blood vessels. In rabbit models, research has demonstrated that S100B influences the inflammatory response in osteoarthritis through fibroblast growth factor receptor 1 signaling.
