Target Information
Granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor, also known as colony-stimulating factor, is a cytokine that promotes the growth and differentiation of hematopoietic precursor cells from multiple lineages, including granulocytes, macrophages, eosinophils, and erythrocytes. In rabbits, this cytokine is encoded by the CSF2 gene. CSF2 is one of the important regulators during embryonic development. It acts together with other embryonic kinases, such as IGF1 and DKK1, to regulate embryonic development from the cleavage stage to the blastocyst stage. It can be hypothesized that CSF2 may also have a role in promoting embryonic development, regulating cell proliferation and differentiation, and participating in immune system functions in rabbits.
