Target Information
Bovine heat shock 70kDa protein 1A (HSPA1A) is a molecular chaperone that belongs to the highly conserved HSP70 family. It is crucial in cattle for maintaining protein homeostasis, refolding denatured proteins, and preventing aggregation, particularly under stress conditions such as heat shock. HSPA1A plays a role in various cellular processes, including immune response, development, and stress tolerance. It is also implicated in the regulation of gene expression at the post-transcriptional level by binding to specific mRNAs containing AU-rich elements. In Bovine embryos, HSPA1A expression is heat-inducible and is part of the innate immune response, crucial for survival and proper development, especially during the maternal-to-embryo transition phase.
