Target Information
Bovine tumor necrosis factor (TNF) is a multifunctional cytokine that plays a crucial role in immune responses and inflammation. It is produced by activated macrophages and lymphocytes and is involved in the regulation of immune cells and the mediation of inflammatory responses. In cattle, TNF is also associated with metabolic functions, particularly in the context of obesity and insulin resistance, where it can promote lipolysis and reduce insulin sensitivity by activating nuclear factor kappa B and c-Jun N-terminal kinase in primary Bovine adipocytes.
