Target Information
Bovine natriuretic peptides A, also known as A-type natriuretic peptides, are a group of hormones that play a significant role in maintaining cardiovascular homeostasis. They are produced by cardiomyocytes and include atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP), brain natriuretic peptide (BNP), and C-type natriuretic peptide (CNP). These peptides have similar gene structures and exert protective effects on cardiovascular physiology, such as anti-hypertrophy, anti-fibrosis, myocardial relaxation, and blood pressure regulation. In Bovine, CNP has been shown to play a key role in sustaining oocyte meiotic arrest and enhancing the developmental competence of oocytes through the activation of CREB, which is important for mitochondrial biogenesis and oocyte cytoplasmic maturation.
