Target Information
Candida glabrata, an opportunistic pathogenic yeast, is a part of the mycobiota in both humans and yellow-legged gulls and tends to develop resistance to fluconazole. Serine/threonine-protein kinase ATG1 is also known as autophagy-related protein 1. It may contribute to virulence by conferring resistance to unstable nutrient environments and immune defense of hosts.
