CD226, also known as Cluster of Differentiation 226, PTA1, or DNAM-1 (DNAX Accessory Molecule-1), is an immunoglobulin-like transmembrane glycoprotein with a molecular weight of approximately 65 kDa. It is expressed on the surface of a variety of immune cells, including natural killer (NK) cells, NKT cells, B cells, dendritic cells, hematopoietic precursor cells, platelets, monocytes, and T cells.
