Target Information
Canine distemper is a highly contagious and serious disease caused by the canine distemper virus (CDV). This virus targets the respiratory, gastrointestinal, and nervous systems of dogs. The nucleoprotein of CDV forms a helical nucleocapsid (NC) with a ratio of 1 N per 6 ribonucleotides, effectively protecting the genome from nucleases.
