Canine Interleukin-13 Receptor Subunit Alpha-2 (IL13RA2) is a high-affinity membrane receptor for IL-13, overexpressed in various tumors such as gliomas. It functions as a decoy receptor to inhibit IL-13 and IL-4 signaling, modulating immune responses and inflammation. In veterinary medicine, IL13RA2 is a potential target for cancer immunotherapy, with cytotoxin therapies showing preliminary efficacy in canine glioma trials.
