Turkey coronavirus (TCoV) leads to a rapidly spreading and severe intestinal disease in turkeys. Recently, TCoV has gained recognition in North America as a significant threat to young turkeys, causing economic losses due to stunted growth and inefficient feed utilization. Symptoms of turkey coronaviral enteritis include a lack of appetite, watery feces, severe dehydration, and reduced weight gain.
