Target Information

Canine respiratory coronavirus (CRCoV) is classified as a group 2 coronavirus. It shares genetic similarities with the bovine coronavirus, known for causing respiratory infections in cattle, as well as with the human coronavirus. CRCoV is capable of causing acute respiratory infections and contributes to the group of viruses and bacteria involved in canine infectious respiratory disease (CIRD), commonly referred to as "kennel cough".
