IgA, also known as also sIgA and Immunoglobulin A is an antibody found in surface secretions where its role is in the protection of body surfaces. IgA plays a critical role in mucosal immunity. Swine IgA allotypes are not equally transcribed or expressed in heterozygous porcine.
