Histoplasma capsulatum var. duboisii Probe-based qPCR Kit

Histoplasma duboisii is a saprotrophic fungus that causes the invasive infection known as African histoplasmosis. It is closely related to Histoplasma capsulatum, which causes classical histoplasmosis, and both species are found in similar habitats. The baboon species Papio papio and Papio cynocephalus are known to be susceptible to H. duboisii infection. Infections have been reported in baboons native to West Africa when transferred to other locations.
