Target Information
Bovine CD26, also known as dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPP IV) or adenosine deaminase complexing protein, is a type II membrane protein expressed on the surface of various cell types, including lymphocytes, activated B cells, natural killer cells, and epithelia. It is involved in immune regulation, T-cell activation, cell adhesion, and HIV infection. CD26 is also an intrinsic membrane glycoprotein and a serine exopeptidase that cleaves X-proline dipeptides from the N-terminus of polypeptides.
