Target Information

Chicken Cytochrome C is a critical electron-transporting protein located in the mitochondrial intermembrane space. It plays a key role in the mitochondrial electron transport chain, transferring electrons from ubiquinol to cytochrome c oxidase. During apoptosis, cytochrome C is released from mitochondria, triggering caspase activation and leading to programmed cell death.
