Target Information

Chicken major histocompatibility complex class II molecules are integral membrane glycoproteins that play a central role in the avian immune system. They are expressed primarily on the surface of antigen-presenting cells (APCs) such as macrophages, B lymphocytes, and dendritic cells. cMHC II molecules are crucial for the initiation of T cell-mediated immune responses by presenting antigenic peptides to CD4+ T-helper cells.
