Target Information

Porcine annexin A11 (pANXA11) is a member of the annexin family of proteins, which are characterized by their ability to bind to negatively charged phospholipids in a calcium-dependent manner. pANXA11 plays a significant role in various cellular processes, including membrane trafficking, exocytosis, and the regulation of cell proliferation and differentiation in pigs. This protein is involved in the restructuring of cellular membranes and has been implicated in the formation of endocytic vesicles, which are crucial for the internalization of nutrients and the recycling of membrane components. pANXA11 may also play a role in the regulation of inflammatory responses and the maintenance of cellular homeostasis.
