Target Information

Porcine CD8α is a component of the CD8 glycoprotein, which is part of the T cell receptor complex on the surface of cytotoxic T lymphocytes in pigs. The CD8 complex, consisting of CD8α and CD8β chains, acts as a co-receptor that enhances the interaction between the T cell receptor (TCR) and the major histocompatibility complex class I (MHC I) molecules presenting antigenic peptides.
