Target Information
Porcine macrophage colony-stimulating factor 1 receptor (CSF1R) is a receptor tyrosine kinase essential for the development, survival, and function of macrophages and monocytes. It binds to its ligands, such as CSF1 and IL-34, initiating signaling cascades that promote cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival. In pigs, CSF1R is expressed on macrophages and is involved in regulating the mononuclear phagocyte system, which plays a crucial role in immune responses and tissue homeostasis.
