Target Information
Porcine TNF receptor-associated factor 4 (pTRAF4) is a member of the TRAF family of proteins, which are known for their role in mediating signaling pathways triggered by various cell surface receptors, including members of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor superfamily. pTRAF4 plays a crucial role in regulating cellular responses to external stimuli, such as inflammation, immune responses, and cellular survival. This adaptor protein functions by interacting with a range of proteins, including kinases and other signaling molecules, to modulate the activation of downstream effectors. In pigs, pTRAF4 is expressed in various tissues and cell types, where it contributes to the fine-tuning of inflammatory responses and the maintenance of immune homeostasis.
