Sheep glycoprotein IIb/IIIa (GP IIb/IIIa) is a critical receptor complex found on the surface of platelets and is essential for platelet aggregation and thrombus formation. This complex is composed of two subunits, αIIb and β3, which together form an integrin receptor that binds to fibrinogen, von Willebrand factor, fibronectin, and thrombospondin.
