Target Information

Chicken c-jun N-terminal kinase 2 (cJNK2) is a member of the mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs) family, which are crucial for transducing extracellular signals to regulate intracellular activities. cJNK2 is involved in a variety of cellular responses, including stress responses, apoptosis, proliferation, and differentiation. This kinase is activated by diverse stimuli such as UV irradiation, cytokines, and osmotic shock, which lead to the phosphorylation and activation of its substrates, like c-Jun, a component of the AP-1 transcription factor.

Target Chicken C-Jun N-Terminal Kinase 2
Target Synonym MAPK8; JNK1
Gene ID 395983
UniProt ID P79996
