Target Information
Cluster of differentiation 117 (CD117) also known as KIT proto-oncogene receptor tyrosine kinase is a cytokine receptor expressed on the surface of hematopoietic stem cells as well as other cell types. Tyrosine-protein kinase that acts as cell-surface receptor for the cytokine KITLG/SCF and plays an essential role in the regulation of cell survival and proliferation, hematopoiesis, stem cell maintenance, gametogenesis, mast cell development, migration and function, and in melanogenesis. Swine CD117 is a putative marker of undifferentiated spermatogonia in the prepubertal porcine testis.

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt (up to 12 months).

User Note
- Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
