Target Information

Cluster of differentiation 14 (CD14) is a 55kDa glycoprotein found as a glycosyl phosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored species on monocytes, macrophages and as an abundant protein in plasma. Swine CD14 is a surface marker of early spermatogonia in developing porcine testes and in porcine spermatogonial stem cells. CD14 is a key molecule in the activation of innate immune cells and exists as a membrane-anchored or soluble form.
