Monocyte chemotactic protein-1 (MCP-1), also known as C-C motif chemokine 2 (CCL2) is a small cell factor acts as a ligand for C-C chemokine receptor CCR2 (By similarity). MCP-1 is intimately involved in the inflammatory reaction. MCP-1 secreted by adult porcine islets may contribute to both instant blood-mediated inflammatory reaction and rejection. MCP-1 plays an important role in regulates the migration of monocytes into tissues and their subsequent differentiation into macrophages.

This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at 2-8°C on receipt (up to 12 months).
