Target Information

Bovine A disintegrin and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin motifs 2 (ADAMTS-2) is a member of the ADAMTS family of proteins, which are matrix metalloproteinases with thrombospondin-like repeats. These proteins are involved in the processing and degradation of extracellular matrix components, including proteoglycans and collagen. In Bovine, ADAMTS-2 plays a role in tissue remodeling, inflammation, and vascular biology, contributing to physiological processes such as tissue morphogenesis and the maintenance of tissue homeostasis. It is also implicated in various pathological conditions related to matrix degradation and inflammation.
