Target Information
Bovine hypoxia-inducible factor 1-alpha (HIF1A) is a protein found in Bovines and other mammals that plays a crucial role in cellular responses to low oxygen levels, or hypoxia. It is a transcription factor that regulates the expression of genes involved in processes such as angiogenesis, glycolysis, and cell survival. In Bovines, HIF1A is involved in various physiological processes, including ovarian follicle development, ovulation, and early luteal angiogenesis. It is also associated with the regulation of steroidogenic activity and oocyte development, which are essential for reproductive success in cattle.
