Target Information
Ephrin B2 is encoded by the EFNB2 gene in dogs. This membrane protein plays a significant role in regulating bone homeostasis and has been shown to induce osteogenic gene expression in periodontal ligament fibroblasts. A previous study demonstrated that ephrin B2 promoted osteogenic differentiation of periodontal ligament stem cells and facilitated alveolar bone repair in beagles.
