Target Information
Fatty acid binding protein 4, also known as fatty acid-binding protein adipocyte, is encoded by the FABP4 gene in chickens. Research showed chicken peptide PNX14 could facilitate the differentiation of chicken preadipocytes into mature adipocytes by enhancing expression of adipogenic genes including PPARγ, CEBPα and FABP4, and promoting the formation of lipid droplets.
