Target Information
Brain Derived Neurotrophic Factor is encoded by the BDNF gene in horses. BDNF is a member of the neurotrophin family that exerts its effects through neurotrophic tyrosine receptor kinase type 2. BDNF plays a crucial role in promoting neuronal survival, growth, and differentiation. Research has shown that BDNF and Ntrk2 are transcribed, translated, and conserved across mammalian species, including humans, mice, rats, pigs, horses, and bats.
Shipping and Storage
This product is shipped with dry ice. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store for 4 weeks at 2-8°C, for 12 months at -80°C.
