Target Information

In felines, small ribosomal subunit protein eS32 (RPL41) is a component of the ribosome, involved in protein synthesis. Initially thought to be part of the large subunit, eS32/eL41 forms a bridge at the interface of the two subunits. RPL41 is essential for mitotic spindle function and centrosome integrity. Its expression is deregulated in tumors, affecting cell cycle progression.
